Meet Nancy Burke

Nancy has been involved in agility training and competition since 1999, first in Southern California and now in Washington State. She and her Australian Shepherds, Jacob and Keegan, compete regularly in agility. Luckily, Jacob is very good at agility and makes up for her shortcomings as a handler so they've managed to achieve the titles of AX and AXJ in AKC, and NATCH, ECC, TN-E and WV-O in NADAC. Jacob also has his Canine Good Citizen certificate. Keegan plays at agility because Nancy wants her to, and they have managed to complete almost all of her Novice NADAC titles.

Nancy and her husband Scott also have another Australian Shepherd, Smokey, a cat named General. Scott and Smokey have retired from agility but you'll find Scott at the EAT trials keeping things running smoothly as the volunteer coordinator.

Since finding Jacob by the side of the highway when he was a puppy, Nancy has become very involved in Australian Shepherd Rescue.
