Meet Kathy Swan
I started training as a AKC obedience Junior handler in 1969. Since then, I earned obedience titles on a Samoyed, Golden Retriever and several Rottweilers. I have also earned American and Candian Championships in conformation. I currently share my life with four Schipperkes (mom, dad and two daughters) and their pet cat.
Sassy (now seven years old) and I began competing in May 2005. She completed her TACh (Teacup Agility Championship) and TACh 2. Sassy has earned the TAM (Teacup Agility Master) title three times and the T-MAG (Teacup Master Agility Games) five times. In October, we finished 3rd place 12” dog in the TDAA Championship round at the Petit Prix in Wisconsin.
Jack (almost three years old) has earned his TBAD (Beginning Teacup), Games I and Games II titles.
In AKC, Sassy has her Excellent titles AX (Standard) AXJ (Jumpers with Weaves) and AF (FAST). She also has her Advance Rally title.
We complete in NADAC and Sassy completed her Elite Versatility title. Jack recently started competing in NADAC.
Sassy also plays CPE at levels 3 and 4.
Sisters, Joy and Gracie are not yet two and are enjoying agility immensely. Both girls show great promise and are highly entertaining.
I became a Teacup Dog Agility Association (TDAA) judge November 2008.
